How To Be Consistent - The Power of Daily Action!

This week it's all about consistency - learning how to be consistent in all areas of your life is one of the most important things you can to to move you closer towards and not further away from your goals.  We often think that taking small actions each day isn't really going to amount to much but this is not the case.  Taking a small action for one day then never doing it again might not help much, but taking that small action every day or even a few times a week will. …

Who Are You Showing Up As?

A must read from The Fearless Networker Tip of the Day for whatever your goals are in life

http://www.toddfalcone.com/

I don’t claim to be the sharpest tool in the shed.  I’m no idiot, but I’m definitely not the most brilliant dude in the world.

I can however say this.  I’m accountable.

Your success relies on personal responsibility.

Most people are held accountable by someone else…i.e. their… Continue

Overcoming Burnout And Restoring The Balance

I'm sure we have all been there - those times when life just seems to take over and we end up reacting to everything instead of taking time for ourselves and things we love to do - as women, we are usually also people pleasers and can end up feeling burnt out and taken for granted.

The trouble when burnout takes hold is that we tend to see even the smallest of problems as a huge mountain to climb and can easily blow life out of proportion.  This can make us emotional and irrational…

My Top 5 For Overcoming That Overwhelm...

I'm sure I am not alone in getting excited about so many different things in my life that I often reach a place where I feel stuck or get overwhelmed.  It happened to me again this past week - I have so many great things that I want to fit into my day that I kinda reached a 'stale mate'.

I know when this happens that I have to pull myself back a bit and keep perspective.  I have a tendancy to get over excitable when I am passionate about what I am doing - causing me to try and do…

Gratitude

So grateful today for the many people that help me...just stay on an even keel. I have two wonderful sisters and a lovely daughter. I'm grateful to accept myself as I am today and to be able to laugh at myself just a little bit. Each day, I am doing something to promote my business and to believe in myself a little more. When I just let go, things seem to work out better and I can see it really wasn't me after all,  that did it! Novel!

Grateful for Joanne and this site and her support…

Are You Average?

by Tonya Leigh

Average is middle of the road, nothing special, ho-hum, dull, mediocre.

Average is saying you want something but never taking action.

Average is a C when you were totally capable of an A.

Average is never giving back or paying it forward.…

Why I Love France

by Tonya Leigh

Have you ever been drawn to something but not sure why? Well, that’s the story of France and me.  When I was a little girl, an image of the Eiffel Tower, Parisian music, Chanel, anything with the word la maison or anything French made my heart flutter.

Living…

Friendship...

A friend is someone we turn to
when our spirits need a lift.
A friend is someone we treasure
for our friendship is a gift.
A friend is someone who fills our lives
with beauty, joy, and grace.
And makes the whole world we live in
a better and happier place.

Allowing vs achieving

We would like you to release the word "achieve" or "earn" from your vocabulary and from your  understanding, altogether; and we would like you to replace those words with the word "allow". You're wanting to allow your Well-being, not achieve it. It's not something that you need to earn. All you have to do is decide what it is you would like to experience, and then allow it in order to achieve it. It isn't something you have to struggle for or try for. You are all worthy beings. You are… Continue

WHY WOMEN SHOULD LIFT WEIGHTS

You will be physically stronger

If your maximum strength is increased, daily tasks and routine exercise will be far less likely to cause injury. Research studies conclude that even moderate weight training can increase a woman's strength by 30 to 50 percent

You will lose body fat

As your lean muscle increases so does your resting metabolism, and you burn more calories all day long. Generally speaking, for each pound of muscle you gain, you burn 35 to 50 more…

GET SEXY SHOULDERS

It is the season for those sexy sleeveless tops that you know you like to wear; are your shoulders ready to be exposed?

To sculpt round sexy shoulders, you need to work all three areas of the deltoid: anterior, medial, and posterior. The following workout program will allow you to do just that. Perform this program twice a week, alternating between Workout A and Workout B, allowing 48 hours between workouts for recovery. You will be seeing those shoulders pop in 4-6 weeks.…

Letting go of the need to be perfect

I don't know if its hayfever or a virus but I have had an uncomfortable week with sinus pain, sore throat and earache - glad to say I am on the mend again now but it got me thinking about how easy it is to beat yourself up over not getting everything done when you are not on top form.

Somehow I have managed to let go of the need to be perfect - I have Tonya Leigh's SCS Program to thank for that and in some ways, now being a life member (yay) and going through the program again this…
