Throughout Tonya Leigh's coaching program that I completed last year, I really enjoyed one of her coaching practices which was posting our 'daily brags' - it is so uplifting to focus on what you have done well today or what you are proud of yourself for so I have decided it would be a great idea to start here.  I hope you will join me!  What are your top 5 brags today?

My daily brags...

I completed a presentation at work that I set out to achieve

I listened to my body and ate well today to keep my energy up

I was fairly organised at home, putting things back in their place - one of my goals this year!

I supported myself by having a longer sleep today rather than forcing myself to get up too early to get other things done

I drank plenty of water

 

I indulged in a long bath and a good book to help me relax

I took regular breaks at work when I was tired

I said 'no' today to avoid overwhelm

I drank plenty of water

I was ok with being 'not so organised today' after not sleeping too well

I realised what a productive week at work I had

I focused on feeling good and enjoying life

I stayed light-hearted

I drank plenty of water

I started a new book - Coaching into Greatness

I was easy on myself after being tired today

I took regular breaks at work

I relaxed

I put my needs first

I allowed myself an early night

Finished something important at work

Committed to and enjoyed a Wii Zumba workout this morning - very energising

Listened to my body and ate well today for energy

Spent some quality time talking to my husband after work

Decided to look at a situation differently and it felt good

Crafted my work 'hit list' to get everything done before my holiday

Worked will Bill to get the pictures and clock up in the kitchen (calmly!) so it is all finally finished - yay!

Got up early and spent some quality time this morning going over some course work and doing some EFT

Went out lunchtime to get some exercise and food shopping - good to get away from my desk

Increased my protein today so much more energetic - I know I feel so much better with less carbs

 

 

Got through a lot at work today and left on time

Noticed when food didn't feel good in my body

Drank plenty of water

Planning in advance for my holiday

Didn't try to do too much

This is a biggie....

 

Made the big phone call I've been putting off for years.  I'm going to go back to school and finish that degree!

Wow Jalila - this is a great big brag, how fantastic!  What degree are you doing?

Working hard to make things happen, Joanne.  But I've been putting off my bachelors for yearssssssss.  Now that my oldest son got accepted into an excellent boarding school with a full academic scholarship for all four years, I'm determined finish before he gets to college.  I've been putting off my career for kids, double guessing myself for fear of the unknown and feeling intimidated by those with degrees that I've not made the kind of lifestyle for myself or my family I once dreamed I would have. 

So its long due.  I'm ready to live the joyful life I'm intended to have.  Completing my degree is a major step toward that.  I have a few kinks to work out but I've been reaching out to find out how to iron them flat, and make way for a smooth finish.  After all, I only have 1 year left!

That's fantastic Jalila and you should be really proud of pushing outside of your comfort zone to achieve your goals!
